- Account Information: Email address and password (via Firebase Auth) for account creation and secure login.
- Business Profile: Business name, team size, and work types to customize your onboarding experience and professional documents.
- Contact Information: Phone numbers and locations provided for service area scheduling and client communications.
- Operational Data: Client details, employee assignments, job tracking details, and inventory records.
- Financial Data: Invoice data, expense records, and generated financial reports.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use the collected information solely to provide and improve the App's services, including:
- Authentication: Securing your account and ensuring you are the only one who can access your data.
- Operational Utility: Generating PDF invoices/quotes, tracking job statuses, and managing your team and inventory.
- Business Insights: Generating aggregate reports to help you track business performance over time.

3. Data Storage & Security
- Security: Your data is stored securely using Google Firebase Firestore.
- Isolation: We implement strict server-side security rules to ensure that your data is isolated. No other users can access your business information, and you cannot access theirs.
- Authentication Required: All data access requires valid authentication credentials.
4. Data Sharing & Disclosure
- No Third-Party Sharing: We do not sell, trade, or share your personal or business data with third parties for marketing or any other purposes.
- No Data Brokerage: GigNeeds operates as a productivity tool, not a consumer data broker. Your data is owned by your business entity.
5. User Rights & Data Control
- Access & Correction: You can update your business profile, client lists, and job data directly within the App at any time.
- Account Deletion: Users have the right to delete their account. Upon request, all associated data will be permanently removed from our active databases.
- PDF Exports: You may export your job and financial data into PDF format for your own offline records at any time.
6. Permissions
The App requires the following system permissions to function:
- INTERNET: To sync your data with our secure Firebase cloud storage.
- ACCESS_NETWORK_STATE: To check for connectivity before attempting to sync data.
7. Children's Privacy
GigNeeds is a business management tool and is not intended for use by children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
